Legal Supplements

For many the term "Legal Supplements" may seem like a bit of a conundrum; after all, is there actually such a thing as legal Supplements? In the United States, Muscle Building androgenic Supplements are classified as Schedule III controlled substances by way of the Controlled Substances Acts of 1990, and 2004. By these Acts, it is illegal to manufacture, sell or possess Muscle Building Supplements in the United States unless manufacturing is done by a licensed pharmacy; the Supplement is prescribed by a doctor for medical purposes and possessed by the individual based on the prescription given for such a medical purpose. In the United States, performance enhancement is not considered a viable medical purpose, and prescriptions granted for this purpose are against the law.

%%Panel.AdCuttingStack%% Before the original Controlled Substances Act of 1990, legal Supplements were defined by any Muscle Building Supplement you wanted to obtain; before this time, one could walk right into their local RX and receive just about any item they wanted. Prior to the 1990 legislation Muscle Building Supplements were often talked about and even traded openly on the gym floor but those days have long since passed. In the eyes of many, the scheduling of Muscle Building Supplements is a bit confusing; after all, there is very little foundational basis of the legislation that is anything more than emotionally driven desire. Even so, the law is as it stands and if legal Supplements are what you're after you're going to need a valid prescription; that is if you live in the United States.

Reasons to Obtain Legal Supplements:

It is established to obtain legal Supplements you need a prescription and the prescription must be based on medical need. The most common reasons for such a prescription being granted typically surrounds testosterone and androgen deficiencies; most notably low testosterone and Andropause. These are very common conditions of many men; in-fact, millions of men worldwide suffer from low testosterone and Andropause; in the U.S. alone over 15-million men suffer from low testosterone, and that is an extremely conservative estimate as they are the only ones we know of.

Legal Supplements can also be obtained by women who suffer from low testosterone and other hormonal deficient conditions. Commonly many women who are suffering from menopause receive some form of Muscle Building Supplemental treatment. While both men and women who suffer from deficient hormone levels may qualify for legal Supplements, many people who suffer from muscle wasting diseases are often prescribed Supplements, as well as critical burn victims. This raises a compelling argument made by many; Muscle Building Supplements are illegal to use for performance because they'll kill you but legal otherwise because they'll improve your life; if that's not a conundrum nothing is.

Another reason one might obtain legal Supplements is a desire to be part of the transgender community. If a woman desires to be a man, she can legally obtain testosterone and other androgenic based Muscle Building Supplements to meet her desired goal. For many, this is another example that makes very little sense as it is difficult to say this is a direct medical necessity. True, one who wants to be part of the transgender community has a desire and by this desire, in the name of liberty such individuals are granted the means to achieve this end. However, if performance is a desire, if you simply desire to better your physique while remaining the gender you already possess the same liberty to fulfill your desire is not given to you. Again, an argument can be made that deems this unfair; simply stating the situation speaks for itself but as it stands today this is the law.

Types of Legal Supplements:

There are literally hundreds of different Muscle Building androgenic Supplements, and while this is true the list of legal Supplements is relatively small. Some of the most popular Muscle Building Supplements among the performance enhancing community such as Equipoise and Trenbolone are not legally obtained to name a few. Again, to obtain legal Supplements you must have a prescription; the most commonly available include:

  • Testosterone-Cypionate
  • Testosterone-Enanthate
  • Testosterone-Propionate
  • Nandrolone-Decanoate (Deca-Durabolin)
  • Oxandrolone (Anavar)

While these are the most commonly prescribed, there are other Muscle Building Supplements that can be legally obtained although far less often. Such Supplements include:

  • Testosterone-Suspension
  • Sustanon-250
  • Oxymetholone (Anadrol)
  • Stanozolol (Winstrol)
  • Fluoxymesterone (Halotestin – very rarely)

How to Obtain Legal Supplements:

As stated, to obtain legal Supplements you need a prescription and such a prescription can be granted by any licensed physician so as long as the intent is deemed viable by the law. As the strong majority of those who obtain legal Supplements do so to treat hormone deficiencies, while a general practitioner may be able to provide you with what you need they are often not your best choice. In most cases, your family doctor will not be well-versed in this arena; some will be, but the strong majorities are not. In most cases, you will find better options.

To obtain legal Supplements, your best bet will be visiting a hormone specialist; an endocrinologist can be an excellent choice, but your best bet will usually be visiting a Hormone Replacement Clinic (HRT). HRT clinics only focus on what their name implies; hormones and as hormones are what you need help with it only makes sense to start here if such an option is available. You will find many of these clinics simply go by the HRT name, but some are often referred to as Wellness Centers, Wellness Clinics, Rejuvenation Clinics or Performance Medicine Clinics.

In any case, often you will find your insurance will cover your need for legal Supplements, as hormone deficiencies present a medical need. Some insurance plans will require you to start with a visit to your family doctor and will require your doctor to refer you to a specialist; some insurance plans will not. In any case, if for some reason your insurance won't pay, or if you want to bypass the family doctor visit you can pay out of pocket. This will obviously cost you a fair amount more, but HRT therapy can be more affordable than you might think. For example, for a man who suffers from low testosterone a 10ml bottle of Testosterone-Cypionate will normally fall in the $100-$150 range and last most men close to 3-4 months depending on the dosing prescribed. Initially you will also have to pay for a consultation as well as blood work, but this is a onetime payment done at the initial starting point; payments for this consultation can vary tremendously depending on the avenue you choose.

International:

If you do not live in the United States, or even if you do and happen to find yourself abroad there is a good chance you'll find all the legal Supplements you could ever want. In some countries, there are little to no laws regarding Muscle Building Supplement sales and purchases. While this may seem appealing on the surface, it also means there is little to no control in manufacturing procedures. If you make a purchase, there's a chance you may be purchasing a contaminated product.

In other countries while it is illegal to sell Muscle Building Supplements, you can buy legal Supplements without a prescription so as long as they are sold and distributed by a licensed pharmacy. If you find yourself abroad this is the route you will want to take, as it will ensure your product is up to sanitary standards and exactly what it is supposed to be. Depending on the country at hand will determine which Supplements are available; some will have a much larger list than others but the long and short is you'll be receiving legal Supplements and that's what you want. It must be noted, regardless of where you purchase them, even if they are legal Supplements in one country it is against the law to bring them into the United States.

Legal Supplements – Alternatives:

While you may not be able to obtain legal Supplements, if you are not in need of a prescription there are alternatives and solutions that may interest you. Pro-Hormones or "Supplement-precursors" were widely available before the U.S. legislation was "Enhanced" in 2004. While the strong majority of these pro-hormones fell to the wayside, due to the new legislation, various supplement companies have stayed one step ahead and continue to produce and sell many new forms. Such items are defined by an enzymatic processes; they enter the body and once inside convert into a usable hormone. No, pro-hormones are nowhere nearly as effective as true blue Muscle Building Supplements, but there are still a few decent ones out there and if you're lucky enough to find one you may have found something worth consideration.

The Truth:

It is often assumed by most that Muscle Building androgenic Supplements are outright illegal. As they are often perceived in popular culture many believe Muscle Building Supplement laws are akin to the laws revolving around recreational drugs such as cocaine and ecstasy; nothing could be further from the truth. You can absolutely obtain legal Supplements with a valid medical prescription, and by such, you are not prohibited from enjoying any performance benefits you may gain. Granted, you cannot obtain legal Supplements for the sole purpose of performance, but you are still granted these benefits so as long as the hormones were obtained legally. No, you will not be prescribed doses of a typical performance based nature, but you will be receiving some of the same hormones used by many performance enhancers. Further, as you will have a valid prescription and be able to walk right into the pharmacy to fill your prescription, you will ensure your legal Supplements are the absolute best Supplements money can buy.
